The Farming industry in the UK is in need of support, it needs to find innovative products that can help farmers reduce costs and improve sustainability and the environment, a difficult balancing act. It contributed an estimated £6 Billion pounds to the economy in 2021.

Context

Sadly farmers are going out of business at an alarming rate, to the point where food chains are being affected and where our ability to produce our own food could be at risk. Anything we can do to help them is important.

Your Solutions

We are looking for products that can provide long term solutions to some of the complex problems facing farmers today, your product should be:-

Innovative - Your product will solve a problem in a way that not other product in the market place can, that does not mean it needs to be unique it needs to be better, more efficient or a complete new solution.

Cost Negative - that means by using the product the farmer can reduce costs, these could be either capital costs or operational costs.

Environment - Your product must be sustainable, that includes all elements, including packaging and your supply chain. If you don't know how to meet this standard, then talk to us, we can provide help, support and guidance to you.

Next Steps

You will need to submit details of your product to us so that we can review it, we will try and do this within 10 working days. If we decide that we will take your product forwards then we will contact you directly and arrange a face to face meeting at your location.  

Please remember we are NOT Angel Investors, we do not provide any access to finance or financial products. 

Stage 1

  1. Download and sign the NDA using the link provided. Return it to us using this email link 

  2. DO NOT provide us with any proprietary information on your product, at this stage we do not need to know technical details of your product, 

  3. Go to the Application Page and complete it.

  4. DO provide us with an overview of the product, what problem it provides a solution to and how its innovative.

Stage 2

  1. Return to us your signed NDA and application. 

  2. Include any marketing material you have created

  3. DO NOT include sensitive technical details of the product or design drawings

  4. We will review the information you have sent us and let you know if your application will proceed. 

Stage 3

  1. We like you and your product.

  2. We want to know more so we will set up a face to face meeting with you at your premises. 

  3. We will ask more details from you and get to know you and your product better. 

  4. If we decide to move forwards with your product, we will agree commercial terms with you

  5. Once the commercial terms are agreed we will start work to get your product to market.
